Hallo Norge
I’m taking an eBreak for several weeks or more, almost in the way one would visit a spa town for a month to take the curative waters. It’s spring and although I have lots of writing to do I’m not blogging or twittering or Facebooking. I’m unplugging for the season, but before I flick the off switch I have to share the exciting news that the translation rights to The Book of Love have just been bought by Aller Media, Norway. To celebrate, I leave you with some paintings by the nineteenth century Norwegian painter, Christian Krohg.

Thanks Jacki, it’s so useful, it’s the biggest time waster, it’s a mind scrambler, it’s brilliant for research, it’s mindless surfing and it sucks up concentration cells like an anteater on several black coffees. So I have to stand aside while I do what I have to do.

Huge congratulations, Phillipa 🙂 And enjoy your well earned break.
Hello Phillipa. I am the one who fell in love with Lily and William, traveled with them to Rome, ran through the narrow streets and made shure that Aller Forlag bought publishing rights. The book will be in store January 2012 and I hope it will do well:-)

Hi Elizabeth, thanks for coming by. I’m glad you loved Lily and William and I hope lots of Norwegian readers will love them too.
